Are You A Fiduciary?

The answer to this question is yes, we are a fiduciary. For those who are unfamiliar with the term "Fiduciary", this means that we are bound to act in your best interests and to put your interests ahead of our own.

What Services Do You Provide, And What Are The Costs Associated With These Services?

You can view a complete overview of the services we offer here. We are a fee-based advisor meaning that we collect a pre-stated fee for our services. The fee is pre-determined  and based on a percentage of assets under management. You can view our fee structure here.

How Often Would I Communicate Or Meet With My Advisor?

The answer is as often or as little as you would like. If you are retiring soon, or have other important milestones approaching, we will likely attempt to meet more often.

We are a local financial planning firm that focuses on our clients. We strive to know you, your needs, wants, goals, and do what we can to help you plan for these goals. We are not just a website with a call center and a robot phone operator. We tailor everything to our clients, from planning to investing, to our meetings and guidance.

How Can I Receive Paperless Statements And What Do I Need To Enroll In EDelivery?

You can receive paperless statements by signing up for AdviceWorks. You will need an individual email address and a cell phone to register. Contact our office for an invitation to get started.  Unless you are enrolled in eDelivery for all documents through AdviceWorks, you will be charged $1.50 for statements, tax forms, and other account related documents. Starting in 2024, there will be a $10 fee for paper delivery of tax forms. Please see here for detailed instructions on how to access your tax forms through AdviceWorks.

How Can I Update My Contact Information With IIS Financial Services?

You can reach out to our office to update names, addresses, beneficiaries, or other account-related information. Paperwork may be required.

How Can I Make A Contribution, Deposit, Transfer Or Take A Distribution Into Or From My Account?

What Are IRA Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs)?

If you have turned 73 this year, you may be required to take an RMD from your IRA. Also, if you have inherited an IRA, you may also be required to take an RMD. For more information, please view our RMD guide or contact our office.
