David Hanson is a Financial Advisor and co-founder of IIS Financial Services, an independent financial planning firm with offices in South Portland and Augusta, Maine. He provides clients with guidance in retirement, investing, and financial planning for individuals, families, and small businesses. David focuses on establishing long-term client relationships built on trust, communication, and service.
Before IIS Financial Services, David began his career with a large wirehouse firm and then continued to work for a Boston mutual fund company as an account manager partnering with financial advisors around the United States.
A native of Portland, Maine, graduated from Cheverus High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University in New York. He serves on multiple local non-profit boards and investment committees. David, along with his wife and three children, lives in Falmouth, Maine. He enjoys the outdoors with his children, golf, traveling, and spending time with his friends and family.
